Sarah’s Story Starts in June of 2016
Sarah Wilson, the proud owner of Sarah’s Scottish Maids, is a first-generation U.S. citizen with deep Scottish roots. Embracing the American dream, she established her business while confronting personal challenges.
In 2016, Sarah faced a major life upheaval when diagnosed with cancer. Amidst chemotherapy, she envisioned a way to support her daughter and manage finances flexibly. Leveraging her passion for organization and cleaning, she founded Sarah’s Scottish Maids. Obtaining a business license and ensuring the company was bonded and insured, Sarah ventured door-to-door to gain clients, benefiting from a friend’s advice on business development. Despite the hurdles of cancer treatment, she diligently built her business, balancing work, her daughter’s schedule, and medical appointments. Her unwavering motivation stemmed from her daughter Ava and a resilient work ethic.
